Ondiek, 13 years old (left), and Kanyugue, 15 years old, burn tires to get the iron braces (structure) out of it. Ondiek has been working for 4 years in the dump. Kanyugue for 5 years, and he has a 5 year old brother begging in the streets of Nairobi. All of them lost their parents years ago. Many street children gather in the dump and stay there at night to sleep even if it is smelly and polluted.
